Not only is riding bicycles a great, low-impact way to get some exercise, it’s also a perfect chance to get out and experience the beauty of the Great Northwest! And that’s why your buds at Lynnwood’s Puget Sound Marijuana are so excited to participate in this summer’s Bicycle Sundays!
While the greater Seattle area certainly has no shortage of diehard cyclists who brave the rain year-round, few folks actually take up the hobby during the dregs of winter. And that’s what makes events like Bicycle Sundays so important! To help spur participation, Seattle Parks and Recreation has closed a nice section of Lake Washington Boulevard to traffic on selected Sundays through the end of summer, which gives riders of all skill levels an opportunity to cruise down a picturesque stretch without competing for space with drivers. Given the explosive increase in traffic the region has seen over the last few years, that’s enough of a reason to pull the bike out of the garage, air up the tires, and go for a spin!
Naturally, the friendly staff at Puget Sound Marijuana will be available before and after the events to help you with any cannabis product needs. Whether you’re looking for something to relieve tired muscles or simply wind down after a day on your bike, we’ve got just the ticket, so stop by and see us!
Bicycle Sundays runs 10am to 6pm, August 14th and 28th, and every Sunday in September. For more information, head over to the official Bicycle Sundays page. We’ll see you there!
